I have planned to go to this place well ahead the trip. It’s one of my MUST GO place. As they not only offers breakfast but over 50 different style of breakfast. You can find German breakfast, English breakfast, French breakfast etc. All were freshly made and the presentation was really nice!
The location is a bit hidden and we have almost miss the entrance as it is not really named The Breakfast Word but German Beer Garden!!! So it’s totally different. Something you need to aware when you pass by the German Beer Garden. However they do have a white banner on white and written the Breakfast World in both English and Chinese. I am quite surprised when I saw the chinese as thought it shall be one of the famous tourist place for tour but actually it was not. We went there by Dok Dok from hotel and it just cost us 150 baht, I guess 150 Baht is just a normal price and think every Dok Dok driver will offer the same price. Anyways glad we have GPS and it located the exact place where we for sure that’s where we need to go.
The interior is a bit country side look & feel. The table cloth made me feels like I was in my grandma’s house waiting for the delicious breakfast that she is preparing for us.
Since my hotel was quite close to Central Embassy, it just took me 5 mins from my hotel to the mall. Me and my husband have no plan to go to Paul Bakery but only went in because of their simply but attractive exterior.
Paul Depuis 1889 was the first french bakery in Bangkok. They were founded over a century ago in Croix, Northern France. It served country-style and fancy artisan breads and well known for producing over 140 types of breads. They have opened over 400 branches over the world. There are 4 branches except Embassy in Bangkok, The Emporium, Central World and Empire Tower . If you are looking for an affordable but quality french breakfast with a convenient location,Paul Depuis 1889 shall be one of your choice.
The take away counter had a wide variety of delicious looking cake and pastries. I haven’t got a chance to try their croissant however it seems like they have many good reviews. The price is not cheap but is affordable. Not only Croissant they offer but also freshly made fruit tarts and cakes everyday. I would highly recommend to try this if you haven’t. They just looks so delicious to me!
I was glad to be invited by Lam Pei on her latest exhibition – Running out of Midsummer in Boom Gallery, where it alters different exhibitions from different period of time. For the most update exhibition, please check out their official website below! This is an ideal place where you can meet the Hong Kong Local artist!
The opening ceremony was held last Saturday. Lam Pei was a well known and talented Hong Kong illustrator who have been participated lots of events and exhibitions during the past years. The most recent Summer project of Lam Pei is Lai Yuen x Sofye’s Fantasy World. It is a collaboration with one of the well known Hong Kong’s iconic amusement park. It is an indoor entertainment facilities spanning a total of 11000 square meters in Hong Kong Asia Word-Expo.
There are many different attractions to look for Sofye’s hidden friends in the BIG maze and explore more through out the games with your friends or families. It’s something you might not want to miss during this Summer!
I went to Bangkok last month and visited the new hippest space with artistic café, market and playground – The Commons. A place where you can get closer to the nature but not too far from the city. They also call it as the backyard of Thonglor. Located in Soi Thonglor 17. The earliest opening is 08:00 a.m however not all café / restaurant were fully open that early, so I would highly suggest not to go to early unless you want to have an early breakfast.
The commons has been divided into 4 zones.
Offers Quality food and drinks
Offers Sweets & Life simple treats
Welcome everyone regardless of age, it’s a good to enjoy your time with Kids.
you can enroll their workshops with your friends and family.
The backyard of the Commons. Enrich yourself with comforting food from
the Commons Kitchen Bar and the Roast
Something surprise was that they also happy for customers to bring their pet along with them! which is something not easy to find in the city.
When I started my blog, I was aim to share some amazing place or restaurant etc. from places that I visited out of my country. I wasn’t aware that I am also living in a beautiful place – HONG KONG. A little city with over 7 million people. (believe the no. shall be more than that!)
HONG KONG is a super busy place and things goes really fast. No one would have time to stop by and explore the beautiful things surrounds them. You can’t change the world but your mind could. It is such a pity to miss the beautiful things just next to you. I went to STAR STREET – Wan Chai alone with my camera on Saturday. I will post more photos and information about STAR STREET later. This is one of the hidden place in Hong Kong which I would like introduce and share to people from other countries. You might not find this place in your travel book or tourist guide. But this is a great place to experience the silent side of HONG KONG.
First I went to Elephant ground for lunch and took a few pictures of the restaurant from star street. Not many of the stores has opened, so I went to the nearest gallery called ODD ONE OUT, they are having an exhibition until 31st JULY.
