Continues my last trip in Chiangmai, we went to this restaurant without any planning on our last day, just to find a place that could spend our time for the delayed flight for almost 7 hours! What a nightmare! However because of this delayed, we decided to look for some new dining place that’s close to our hotel.
We have no idea what kind of food they offer but the gorgeous building was attractive enough for me to look into their menu. There are various kinds of Thai food with reasonable prices. Just a sneak peak from the exterior you can either sit outside and inside. So let’s see how’s the interior look and feel.
We were welcomed by their staff with such a friendly smile on their face and they were so attentive. We have to sit interior as the outer seats are full. The restaurant is huge and have a very beautiful environment. There’s a cafe bar on the side and in the middle there’s a long table. I love the interior decoration and obviously this have been well designed. It is so stylish yet tradition with the leak wood Chiangmai design. The lighting of the store is very soft and made us feel so relax to spend our time for our delayed flight! Guess we found a perfect dining place. How exciting this was in such an unexpected situation!

As a coffee lover like me, I love wander around and look for lovely coffee shop when I arrived in a new city where I have never been.
Apart from my previous post of cafe Ristro8to, here is another place where you can spend your afternoon with such a simple yet stylish coffee shop. They severed home made pasta and is made to order. So if you are rushing to another new spot then I would not recommend you to come as they won’t serve really fast but believe slow food would results the best quality to their customers. So be patient and wait for what they serve. It sure won’t disappoint you.

There are always different kinds of travels, but I would prefer a more leisure, relax way on my trip after a busy days in office. There’s always some excuse to treat yourself better!
Continue of my trip in Chiang Mai. We went to a super romantic restaurant Dash! Teak House Restaurant.I have made a reservation in advance before we came. So after a full day sightseeing, exploring the old city we decided to spend our night in this traditional architecture restaurant.
You all deserve a little wanderlust
One thing you may aware, (if you have been in Chiangmai), there are always teak wood architecture everywhere. They call this Lanna style architecture of Northern Thailand. The Dash! Restaurant looks very traditional teak wood style. That’s also the reason why I chose to spend my night here. As we arrived a bit early, guess was around 6:30. It’s still bright and it’s too early to get dark. The location was easy to find and it wasn’t a tourist location.
There are lots of red lantern decorated all around the ceiling of each floors. It given the very strong asia feel architecture with the wooden roof. Since we didn’t made our request in the reservation so the waiter just brought us to the interior. There is a lovely garden so if you wish to sit outdoor, just make sure to tell them your request as I know they were very full and there are only few tables!

Since my hotel was quite close to Central Embassy, it just took me 5 mins from my hotel to the mall. Me and my husband have no plan to go to Paul Bakery but only went in because of their simply but attractive exterior.
Paul Depuis 1889 was the first french bakery in Bangkok. They were founded over a century ago in Croix, Northern France. It served country-style and fancy artisan breads and well known for producing over 140 types of breads. They have opened over 400 branches over the world. There are 4 branches except Embassy in Bangkok, The Emporium, Central World and Empire Tower . If you are looking for an affordable but quality french breakfast with a convenient location,Paul Depuis 1889 shall be one of your choice.
The take away counter had a wide variety of delicious looking cake and pastries. I haven’t got a chance to try their croissant however it seems like they have many good reviews. The price is not cheap but is affordable. Not only Croissant they offer but also freshly made fruit tarts and cakes everyday. I would highly recommend to try this if you haven’t. They just looks so delicious to me!
