I have planned to go to this place well ahead the trip. It’s one of my MUST GO place. As they not only offers breakfast but over 50 different style of breakfast. You can find German breakfast, English breakfast, French breakfast etc. All were freshly made and the presentation was really nice!
The location is a bit hidden and we have almost miss the entrance as it is not really named The Breakfast Word but German Beer Garden!!! So it’s totally different. Something you need to aware when you pass by the German Beer Garden. However they do have a white banner on white and written the Breakfast World in both English and Chinese. I am quite surprised when I saw the chinese as thought it shall be one of the famous tourist place for tour but actually it was not. We went there by Dok Dok from hotel and it just cost us 150 baht, I guess 150 Baht is just a normal price and think every Dok Dok driver will offer the same price. Anyways glad we have GPS and it located the exact place where we for sure that’s where we need to go.
The interior is a bit country side look & feel. The table cloth made me feels like I was in my grandma’s house waiting for the delicious breakfast that she is preparing for us.
As it was a rainy day at that moment, believe it would looks much better to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine, however you can still take a great shot at the entrance. A wooden bench with shelter and flowers makes you feel so much in a garden. There are several tables outside if it is not in a rainy day. The breakfast takes sometime to prepare, so don’t be hurry and enjoy the atmosphere while you are waiting for your Big Breakfast! it won’t disappoint you!
How’s the food?
As mentioned it was served in a really good presentation. I order a German Breakfast as think this is not something I normally could order in Hong Kong or somewhere else unless I’m in German? and my husband ordered a Mediterranean breakfast. It sounds so rare we can find in any restaurant! So what’s include in our breakfast?
The presentation compare with the German breakfast is Super! I almost WOW! when they bring this in front of my husband. The breakfast include parma or Serrano ham, Fried eggs, French creme cheese, tomato in olive oil, balsamic cream also their tomato sauce is homemade! also it served with coffee or tea.
I ordered the German breakfast and it include Toast, 2 fired eggs (you can also choose boil eggs) bacon, salami, cheese, ham also it comes with a fresh lemon juice to start with and by the end coffee or tea will serve for you. With such full breakfast it is still under 300 Baht for each!!!
With the full and well presented breakfast in such a warmest country side restaurant to start from the morning, what can you ask for more?
